Résumé     

Costhyrella nov. gen. est crée pour quatre espèces du Paléogène du bassin de Paris. Trois de ces espèces étaient jusqu’alors classées dans le genre Stenothyra Benson. L’étude de diverses espèces d’Hydrobiidae du bassin de Paris permet de rapporter au genre Lapparentia deux espèces, Assiminea stenochora Cossmann, 1888 et Rissoa veslensis Cossmann, 1907, dont le système de plications internes n’avait pu jusqu’alors être observé. Quatre espèces nouvelles, rapportées aux genres Costhyrella, Lapparentia et Goniatogyra, sont décrites. L’espèce Bithinia (Nematura) cylindracea Deshayes est rapportée provisoirement au genre Hydrobia s. lato.

A new genus of Hydrobiidae (Gastropoda, Prosobranchia) from the Paris Basin Paleogene

Abstract     

The genus Costhyrella nov. gen. is created for four Paris Basin Paleogene species. three of these species have been classed in Stenothyra Benson until now. The study of diverse hydrobiids from the Paris Basin leads to consider two of them as Lapparentia Berthelin: Assiminea stenochora Cossmann, 1888 and Rissoa veslensis Cossmann, 1907, in which internal plications were previously unknown. Four new species are described, in the genera Costhyrella, Lapparentia et Goniatogyra. The species Bithinia (Nematura) cylindracea Deshayes is tentatively considered an Hydrobia s. lato.
