Résumé     

Plusieurs spécmens complets du Rostellariidae (Gastropoda: Littornimorpha) Hippochrenes (Semiterebellum) rutoti GLIBERT, 1938 ont étés récoltés dans le Bartonien (Auversien, Eocène moyen) du bassin de Paris. C’est la première fois depuis que cette espèce fut décrite en Belgique, que de tels exemplaires sont récoltés en France. L’étude de ces spécimens, mieux préservés que l’holotype, a permis de constater que cette espèce appartenait en fait au genre Amplogladius COSSMANN, 1889 (Espèce type : Rostellaria athleta D’ORBIGNY, 1850 par désignation originale). Nous donnons ici une nouvelle description de cette espèce. Le contenu spécifique de ce genre et la répartition stratigraphique sont brièvement analysés.

 Abstract     

We describe unpublished material of the poorly know Hippochrenes (Semiterebellum) rutoti GLIBERT, 1938 (Gastropodo: Littonrinimorpha: Rostellaridae) on the basis of several complete specimens, wich were collected in the Bartonien (Auversian, Eocene) of the Paris basin. It is the first time since this species was described in Belgium, that such specimens are collected in France. The study of the specimens, more complete and better preserved than the holotype, makes it possible to note that this species in fact belongs to the genus Amplogladius COSSMANN, 1889 (type-species : Rostellaria athleta D’ORBIGNY, 1850, by original designation). We here present a new description of this species. The specific contents and the stratigraphic distribution of this genus are briefly analyzed.
