Abstract   

The fossil reprersentatives of the genus Bouryia were the subject of a recent study focussing on a with the Eocene species of the Paris Basin and the West of France. In continuation of that work I add further descriptions while expanding the scope of the study to include Thanetian (Paleocene) species. To that end, I deal with the two species already indicated to Thanetien Truncatella distensa COSSMANN, 1888 and T. minor BRIART & CORNET, 1887 as well as a species from the Danian of Mons (Belgium) T. cylindrata BRIART & CORNET, 1887, that I have collected in the Paris Basin from the Thanetian. A new species Bouryia roberti is described from the Thanetian.

 Résumé

Les représentants fossiles du genre Bouryia ont fait l’objet d’une étude récente traitant des espèces éocène du bassin de Paris et de l’Ouest de la France. A la suite de ce travail nous apportons des compléments descriptifs en élargissant l’étude aux espèces du Paléocène. A cette fin, nous traiterons les deux espèces citées sous les noms de Truncatella distensa COSSMANN, 1888 et T. minor BRIART & CORNET, 1887 ainsi que d’une espèce du Danien de Mons (Belgique) T. cylindrata BRIART & CORNET, 1887, que nous avons récoltée dans le bassin de Paris au Thanétien. Une espèce nouvelle Bouryia roberti est décrite de la même origine.

Des bernard-l’hermite dans les faluns miocènes de Channay-sur-Lathan (Indre-et-Loire, France).

Résumé    

Aucun bernard-l’hermite fossile n’est connu dans la bibliographie sur les invertébrés des faluns miocènes de Touraine. En 1997, 3 propodes de Paguroidea ont étés découverts dans la falunière de La Sonneterie (Channay-sur-Lathan, Indre-et-Loire, France). La description de ces 3 nouveaux fossiles permet de les rapporter aux familles des Paguridae (Pagurida indet.) et des Diogenidae (Paguristes gagnaisoni nov. Sp). Ces bernard-l’hermite complètent la liste des crustacés décapodes miocènes du bassin de Savigné-sur-Lathan/Noyant-sous-le-Lude.

Abstract    

Hermit crab fossiles are know in the literature from the Miocene shelly sands of Touraine. In 1997, three specimens identified as Paguroidea propodi were discovered in the La Sonneterie quarry (Channay-sur-Lathan, Indre-et-Loire, France). New description of these fossils make it possible to relate them to the families Paguridae (Paguridae indet.) and Diogenidae (Paguristes gagnaisoni nov. sp.). These hermit crabs complete the list of decapods crustaceans from the Miocene basin of Savigné-sur-Lathan/Noyant-sous-le-Lude.

 Position systématique de quelques gastéropodes de l’Eocène à dernier tour disjoint (Mollusca, Gastropoda, Caenogastropoda) : Delphinula conica, Omalaxis, Eoatlanta….

 Résumé :

 La position systématique de trois groupes classiques de l’Eocène du bassin de Paris est revue. Le nouveau genre Trypatrochus (classé dans les Trypanaxidae) est proposé pour Delphinula conica auparavant inclus dans le genre Vermicularia (Turritellide). Une nouvelle espèce de Trypatrochus est décrite du Priabonien du bassin d’Aquitaine ; elle possède une protoconque de type planctotrophe proche de celles des Campaniloidea. Les Omalaxinae auparavant classés à proximité des Heterobranchia (Architectonicoidea) sont considéré comme une sous-famille des Turritellidae. Le genre Eotlanta est retiré des Pterotracheoidea (Heteropoda) et inclus dans les Vanikoroidea (Hipponicidae). Une nouvelle espèce d’Eoatlanta est décrite du Priabonien des Landes (bassin d’Aquitaine).

 Abstract   

 The systemactic placement ot three classic groups of the Paris basin Eocene is reconsidered. The new genus Trypatrochus (included in the family Trypanaxidae) is proposed for Delphinula conica previously include the genus Vermicularia (Turritellidae). A new species of the Trypatrochus is described from the Priabonian of Aquitaine Basin; this species has a planktrophic protoconch close to that of the Campaniloidea. The Omalaxinae, previously classified close to the Heterobranchiae (Architectonicoidea), is considered as a subfamily of the Turritellidae on the basis of the teleoconch and protoconch characters. The genus Eoatlanta is removed from the Pterotracheoidea (Heteropoda) and included in the Vanikoroidea (Hipponicidae). One new species of Eoatlanta is described from the Priabonian of Landes (Aquitaine Basin).
