Résumé    

La base des « Sables de Bracheux » (Paléocène supérieur, Thanétien) de la carrière de Rollot, a révélé parmi un grand nombre de restes de vertébrés, la présence d’un aiguillon attribuable au genre Heterodontus. Un caractère morphologique des aiguillons Fossile d’Heterodontidae a été réexaminé et a vu son extension prolongée jusqu’au Thanétien.

Abstract     

The basal « Sables de Bracheux » (Upper Paleocene, Thanetian) from the sand pit of Rollot (Somme, France) revealed the presence of a sting, probably belinging to the genus Heterodontus, together with many other vertebrate rremains. The distributionof the family Heterodontidae is extended up to theThanetian, by investigating the tuberculation of fossils stings.
